Not sure what to make of this now...

Okay, for those who haven't seen the Season Premier of Lost.... i'm sorry, i have to start a little bit without you. Nevertheless, i'll keep the spoilers vague and to a minimum.

First of all: New station "Hydra" logo, as seen below...

i'm not sure if this totally debunks the ol' "leaked" Dharma video, but i have to say that both in terms of how the video was put together and the detailing of the different stations, i still find myself thinking the video has to be tied in some how. If i'm proven wrong then so be it. i definitely was wrong about Hanso being Mr. Zeke. Oh well...

Nevertheless, though this "Hydra" station is said (in the episode) to be where the Sharks (and dolphins), originated, the logo DOES NOT match that found on the sharks in the screen captures, nor in the washed up "DJ Dan" pictures (with the Swan logo on the shark). Something to think about for whatever it's worth.

Beyond that, i've got a million thoughts swirling in my head about the latest episode. Expect more soon as i string these thoughts together in some manner approaching cohesiveness... or cohesion or whatever.

By the way, i suspect Juliette will defect at some point.

Well, my brother, who is also an advid lost fan, and myself had a discussion about the "under water" station yesterday. We came to the conclusion that although it is very possible that the station could be underwater it isn't at the bottom of the ocean miles away from the island as Juliet was able to transfer between interviewing jack to shooting electro-magnetic darts into Sawyer's neck.
Moving on to the subject of Sawyer, that other prisoner is by all means a sleeper. I mean, how many teenage to early twenty year old kids do you see roaming around the island by chance? It was an obvious set up and we should all hope that Sawyer has more common sense about that then he does about solving bear tests.
On the note of Juliet defecting, it seems that she already has, or for the most part all the "others" have. It strikes me odd that after the premier of the show Hanso releases a memo stating that he apologizes for the lifes affected and taken by the experimentations. I think the others are just as lost as the survivors.

Personally i'm not sure about the kid (Karl). The runaway and "forced" apology looked pretty staged. I mean he managed not only to get out of his cage, but then quickly opens Sawyers cage like he had the key (in no way could he pick the lock that fast). If he had a key then it would most likely mean that someone gave it to him. Either because he is one of the "others", and they wanted Sawyer to trust him, or that someone of the "others" felt sympathy for him.
I think Karl was captured as a kid by the "others", just like Alex. And if he was not faking the runaway then probably he's questioning the "others" methods, just like Alex did freeing Claire.

The last show seemed to suggest that Ben runs the project like some sort of cult. At least that what Juliet hinted at the bookclub, talking about freewill.
